Welcome to the Great Kingshill Cricket Club Fantasy League 2010!
Introduction:
Here is your opportunity to assume the role of committee member and pick your team of GKCC superstars for the season. Not only do we have big prizes up for grabs again this year, entering your team will provide extra valuable revenue to the club.
Rules:
New for 2010, just select any 6 players. Your budget is 60 points. Then watch them score points for you all season. All players get the same points for contributions, be it with bat, ball or gloves.
You do not have to pick yourself but you can if you wish, especially if you respond to that added motivation! Only 1st and 2nd XI Morrant Chiltern League games will count towards the Fantasy League points.
The entry fee will be £10 per team. A team will not score points until the team selection and money has been received so hand both in together.
Scoring:
All players score the same points/ bonus points, it doesn’t matter what they are classified as.
Appearance +20
In true 'it's not the winning, it's the taking part' spirit, everybody who plays gets 20 points per game.
Batting +1 (per run)
Plus an additional 10 bonus points if the player scores a fifty, and an additional 50 bonus points if the player scores a hundred. Any player not out at the end of an innings will receive an additional 10 bonus points, however any player who registers a 'duck' receives a 10 point penalty.
Bowling +20 (per wicket)
Plus an additional bonus 50 points if the player takes a 5 wicket haul!
Catches +15 (per catch)
Stumping +20 (per stumping)
Man of the Match +30 (as selected by the team captain)
