Chalfont St Peter 124 for 4 in 20 overs
Gt. Kingshill 126 for 1 in 17.3 overs
Winning the toss GK captain Alex Michaels inserted the visitors to bat on a slow wicket. Jack Lane soon struck having P Dorman caught by wicket-keeper Charlie Young. A fine 2nd wicket partnership of 60 between A Keys(40) and C Meale (52 n.o.) was the main factor in Ch St Peter reaching 124 for the loss of 4 wickets. Jack Lane took a fine low catch to dismiss A Keys off the bowling of Harry Osborne. It was a steady bowling performance by the home team in which eight bowlers were used.
Tom Sheehan (72) and Charlie Young (30 n.o.) opened the batting for GK and a partnership of 115 saw the target being reached in the 18th over. Tom was run out attempting a suicidal run but not before his innings in which he hit 12 fours put the result beyond doubt.
